    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just moved over to a sim only deal from Virgin bringing my old number over.&amp;nbsp; The chap in the shop yesterday said it could take 3 days for it to take effect.&amp;nbsp; This morning my Virgin sim card starts saying "No Service" so I replace that with the EE sim.&amp;nbsp; After restarting my phone I've got the EE sign in the top left and "3G" but nothing works.&amp;nbsp; Can't phone 150 and no mobile data.&amp;nbsp; Do I just have to give it some time to kick in or is something I should be doing?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks for any help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the community.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The SIM purchased from EE should have a temporary number so you can continue to use your services till your number port completes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;No number ports are completed over the weekend so this should complete for you Monday or Tuesday at the latest.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you able to make calls and texts OK from the EE SIM?&lt;/P&gt;
