Transferring number from bt to ee

I have been with BT for a number of years but as BT mobile phone users have to move to EE.

I have received my new EE sim today , but as I use my mobile phone for work Monday - Friday , are transferring done over the weekend. Also are text messages lost once I’ve moved to EE ?

@Bagpuss02 no transfers are not done over the weekend or Bank Holidays.

If you are submitting your PAC code avoiding Monday or Friday can also be a good idea, as does having a spare phone, then at least you will get a better idea of when the actual port starts and finishes.

If your texts are stored on your phone you should still be able to access them, like your contacts list.
