Hi all.

I've just received my first EE sim card - I was originally with sky - and it doesn't appear to be working. Whenever it is inserted into my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S10, it says no service. It then seems to fix itself and says it's EE, but doesn't send any messages, and it also says I have no data despite the sim being an unlimited data sim. I've received a text from EE saying to turn it off and back on again and its ready to go but this isn't working. Any help would be appreciated.

-Ryan.

Hi Chris, thanks for replying. Hope you've had a good day.

I was aware that it could take up to 24 hours - but earlier in the afternoon it worked for a brief period of around ten minutes before it stopped. It then said I wasn't with any service. It's now appearing as EE on the top left of my phone for around a minute or two before going back to saying that there is no service. Is this normal for it to do?

Also, is there any additional steps I've been needing to follow other than putting it in and restarting my phone, since it is my first EE sim?

Thanks,

Ryan.

I've left it in overnight and all day so far in hopes that it sorts itself but nothing seems to be working. I'm still unable to make or receive calls, and the same goes for messages. I'm also unable to use any mobile data as it says I have none.

I'm a little frustrated with it to tell the truth, so any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ryan.

What does the coverage checker report for coverage and network status?
