When will my old number switch over

Ordered sim on 24/05/2023 over phone gave pac number in an who I spoke to said they sort everything your end. I’ve put new sim in and it’s not my old number, will it take 24 hours from the point of putting new sim in? I need people/work to be able to contact me asap via old number

Yes, @LozLee , it takes 1 working day from when you activate the EE SIM.
