How do you register a SIM when it is used for insertion into a router?? When trying to register using EE app on my phone, it sends an authentication code to the SIM in the router which I cannot see!! Any suggestions please

Which router are you using?

but what if you’re putting SIM into a device such as a router and not a phone- how can you see text message with authentication code???

The original post queried being "in an area" that can't receive texts which suggests no coverage.

Your scenario of the device being the issue is a different one, although I believe most mobile routers have an SMS functionality.

Most mobile routers can receive & reply to texts. Look in it for the SMS section.
