Sim suddenly stopped working

My SIM has suddenly stopped working tonight. I have a PAY monthly SIM. My account is still working fine but the SIM says no service. It will not work in anther phone. I have tried restarting the phone and removing and replacing the SIM card.

It could be time to call customer services on another friends phone or pop in store when the store is open, they could run some checks. Is the sim card old as they do wear our over time?

Another option is to get an E-sim which using a virtual sim running on your phone which you can download over the air but you may need to contact customer services on another phone or have a working sim first.

Note that when going abroad the E-sim didnt work for me so maybe something is needed to be checked bwfore you travel.

SIMs don't wear out in normal use. Many users continue with the same SIM for double-digit years.

What do you mean by the SIM stopping working?

Well it did just stop working. I've had it for about 6 years. I've been to the EE shop today and they've had to replace the SIM, they don't know why it's happened.
