An upgrade, by definition, keeps your same number on a new phone.

Having an eSIM rather than physical SIM can complicate this, I'm not sure how that works but the physical SIM just gets moved from your current phone to your new phone.

I can now upgrade both my numbers. 1 Nano sim & 1 E-sim. I do not want to change my numbers. Don't want the hassle of waiting for new sim to then have to change to current number sim. Don't want to lose my E-sim either. I am a bit confused. My EE, allows me to choose a new sim only plan, but 1) I can only add 1 new plan at a time to the basket, and 2) advised a new sim will be sent out in 2-3 days. I don't to do that.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

If you upgrade to a new SIM plan, your won't need to change your SIM or eSIM.

Hope this helps.
