Sim no longer recognised

The past few weeks a no sim messages has popped up on my iPhone but the disappears without issue. Today however it appeared and no I have no signal or 4g can’t make calls or send texts. Restarted phone took out sim etc nothing happens.
can I get a bit of help please

Are you able to try putting your SIM card in another phone?

This would help to determine if the issue is following your SIM card or your phone. We would then be able to let you know the next steps.

Hi Jon
I was able to put someone else’s Sim card into my phone and it worked fine. I assumed my Sim card was damaged and therefore asked EE to send me another one. However the new one does not work either. What would you suggest I try next

I recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so they can look into whether the SIM card is registered properly and to check our systems from our end.
