Sim only number transfer

Hi all I applied for a sim only and during the process I gave them the number I want to keep. I got approved and received my sim im just wondering if it will do the phone number transfer on its own or whether I have to do anything so it does the transfer. Does anyone know if it will do it on its own or if I have to do anything please?

If you gave EE the PAC from your previous network when you ordered, the port should complete itself within 1 working day of you activating the EE SIM.

Just to add to the great advice from @XRaySpeX, once the number transfer has started you will get a text to let you know and another text once this is completed.

If you would like to check when this will transfer, you can call us on 150 and the team can look into this for you.
