Updating Esim number

Have recently moved to EE, set up the esim on my phone on the number that came with sim card. I have now ported my old number over but it is still showing as the original number on my sim card manager settings. I have a Samsung Z Flip 4. What do I do to change it to my new number? My texts and calls do work fine so not sure if it just a visual thing, also I want to set up my watch LTE plan no sure if that will cause any problems

Are you able to manually change the number in Settings?

If you call someone, what number comes up?

Cannot amend manually and it comes up with my number that I ported over

I spoke to customer services and they advised doing a soft reset, which didn't sort it, but could just take some time to update as it's recently had the ported number

Will give it a few days
