I could not convert my SIM card to esim

Hello, I am now in mainland China. I want to convert my sim to a esim( I am pay as you go user) but could not find any possible ways, as there is no download esim on MyEE app and when I call 150 they just ask me to top up!(but I’ve already toped up)

i wonder if there is any possible way for me to convert it! Thanks!

@clemmy111 the usage of an eSim is only for contract customers at present.

Even if you was a contract customer you can not do this outside the UK.

Thanks so much! One more question: can I receive phone call from the UK even if I don’t top up next month?? And can I change the monthly plan to £5 minimum?? Best wishes

You need to have sufficient PAYG credit to receive calls when outside the EU.

You can change to the £5 pack in your MyEE but you need to pay for it.
