Inserted my sim today , I’ve used a pac code was wondering when my old number will be transferred, so people know who’s ringing

Once the transfer of your number has been completed it should work. Have you rebooted your phone? It can take up to 24 hours to transfer the number.

When did you submit your PAC? If you gave your PAC as part of the new order, then it's usually treated as being submitted the day after you first activate the SIM. But only EE C/S can tell you for sure - 150 from your mobile.
