topic Number transfer in SIM cards & Porting

Number transfer

I ordered a new phone and requested my number is transferred. Sent the PAC code on ordering but how long before this transfer happens ?
tried using the online form but it isn’t recognising the PAC. Is this because it’s been used ?
Please help

When did you do this? Porting does not happen over the w/end & hols.

The request was done at purchase and this was over a week ago. However the phone was only used yesterday for the first time. Would this make a difference ?

Yes, your SIM will need to be in use for the number transfer to complete. Have you had any texts regarding your number transfer yet?
