PAC/Unlocking Phone

Hello, EE has given me a PAC code as I am moving to a different company on a Sim Only.

When I get this sim will it work in my phone or will I need to unlock it? Does the PAC code unlock my phone?

I am panicking now as the code will expire soon but they didn’t mention about unlocking my phone when I called them?

@livfroome : PACs port numbers between providers. They don't unlock devices. That is a separate exercise.

You can just apply for unlocking by using the Unlocking your device form and giving its IMEI no., which you can obtain be dialling *#06# into its keypad.
