My dad bought new pay as you go phone but unfortunately his old sim doesn't fit in new sim slot and also he has £20 credit on it. Would it be possible to transfer credit onto new sim?

Cheers, old sim is the biggest type that doesn't separate, that old, new phone only takes smallest sim, so that why it won't fit

Then push it out of the new SIM.

PAYG credit is not refundable or transferrable.

You'll lose the PAYG credit that remains on the old SIM. That's why it's never a good idea to buy a PAYG phone from EE, with its mandatory credit, when you already have a PAYG SIM from EE. Better to buy a SIM-Free phone outright from somewhere like Amazon.

That’sa little bit muddled.

if the OP’s dad gets a replacement SIM for their old account and puts it in the new phone they’ll keep their old number and any credit they had. But they will lose any credit they’ve put on the new SIM.
