Choose the new number, it will change over when you submit the PAC code.

Top tip, you will have no service for a while, but try and do it early on a Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday, avoid Friday and Bank Holidays in case of delays.

Hi there, I'm trying to join EE (left about 5 years ago). I'm leaving my Vodafone contract early and trying to sign upto an ee offer through BT discount. When I get to the basket, there's an option for my Pac code. Vodafone sy as soon as I give it over, I'll lose connection, which obviously I can't go without anything for a week or so.

My question is, if I hand over my pac code now, will I lose connection straight away or only when I put the new sim card in. I don't want to have no mobile connection for a week or so. I did ask ee customer service but haven't had a reply. Thankyou

Hi @Purgeot you would be better to start the PAC process once you have the new SIM. Otherwise you could be without service until the SIM arrives.

Ah brilliant thankyou. I wasn't sure as the sign up said use pac code or get a new number. Thanks

You're unlikely to lose service at any point, but on the day of your port you are likely to have split service during the day.

This means you may be able to make outgoing calls from your new EE SIM before incoming calls & texts fully port-in.
