      <title>Sim card broken, replacement not activated</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Recently my sim card broke and i have had to get a new one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The guide on the EE website says that for a broken sim card all I have to do is order a new one and it will work automatically and doesn't need any further setting up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The replacement was delivered fast but when I have put it in my phone, restarted it, and waited 24 hours it does not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cannot receive texts or send them, or receive or make calls.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even if I was to follow the instructions for activating a truly new sim (rather than a replacement) I could not do this as I cannot receive calls or texts on my old sim as it is broken, and the new one does not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does any one have any advice for me short of trying the sim card in a different phone, as I do not have a spare phone to hand to try this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
