&lt;P&gt;I could imagine that to be very frustrating.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Just to double check have you tried a different sim card in your phone?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Does it sound the same when you have the phone on loud speaker?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you hear the other person fine?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I suspect the phenomenon you're describing is what some people call "dalek speech" and can sometimes be a symptom of poor coverage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you use mobile data whilst on a call? This is a test of whether you're using 4G-calling.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you get this issue in specific locations, or is it more general? There is an option on the network status tool, to "report a problem", and one reportable issue is "in-call audio issues"&lt;/P&gt;</description>
