I broke my phone and put my SIM in an old phone. I don't remember ever having a PIN for that phone. Does the SIM have a PIN? It's not 1111 I tried that.

Thanks

Hi @Blitzed

Welcome to the community.

What action is it that you're doing with the device that requires a PIN?

It's just a general enquiry. I saw on my settings that the sim card can have a pin and I wondered how you could find out what it was.

The default PIN for physical SIMs is 1111, @Blitzed

The SIM PIN is usually requested when you put your SIM in another phone, or reboot the device. I'm not sure if this is the same for an eSIM, but it may be requested when you're changing some phone settings.
