I just bought a mobile locked to EE but am not an EE customer can I get it unlocked free

@Reddwarf4ever : You can just apply for unlocking by using the Unlocking your device form and giving its IMEI no., which you can obtain be dialling *#06# into its keypad.

If you follow the unlocking form here, Device unlock (ee.co.uk) once this has been completed, it will let you know the estimated time frame for your unlocking request.
