Hi, What will the Chrome OS allow me to do? I am interested in the Lenovo Ideapad 513 4G and the AcerSpin CHromebook. Can I run MS Word on these? And other Microsoft utilities? The Chrome OS is Linux based. You can't run any MS or Windows applications on it. You could see if you can get a vers. of OpenOffice for it. Your 1st link says it requires Windows.

You need to check with any vendors that their products run on Chrome OS.
