Samsung galaxy watch 5 pro

I have just recently got my watch and i am unable to add my data plan to it.

i am being told because i have Oppo phone rather than samsung this is not possible. Why can't EE provide me with a QR code to the Esim for this watch? i don't need a samsung device for that.

Thanks for coming here.

Sorry this is not possible, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4G can only be connected to compatible Samsung devices and selected plans on our EE network.

i don't understand why a QR can't be generated for the Esim? it is possible
to be added this way.

Hi @djnunny

The watch would download the eSIM to your watch during the pairing process with a compatible device, this can't be added manually with an eSIM QR code.

its a shame then 😞 but i was only asking this as that's what my phone is asking for when i try to pair them it is saying scan QR.
