Paying off EE Sim Only Contract

I thinking of Paying off my EE Sim Only Contract as it's too expensive to upgrade to a new phone. I'm wondering what would happen to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic which has a Paired Watch Plan? I got it on contract from EE in November last year.
