What tablet are you using? If it is Apple and you have an Apple phone, you should just click on new message and then put in 150, I suspect it would be the same with any other make or model.

As far as I know, a "data only" SIM allows you to place/receive calls and send/receive text messages the same as a "phone" SIM. Depending on the plan you have for the tablet, you just get billed for it.
