Replacing Alba 1.8 as battery type no longer available

Hello, I only require a fairly basic, pay as you go phone. I bought an Alba 1.8 four years ago from Argos, however now that the battery needs replacing, it has been impossible to find the right sort - even Argos couldn't source one.

I would like to simply move my SIM card to a new phone, keep my number the same and keep the EE credit. Can anyone recommend another phone? The Alba has torch/camera/video features, it would be nice to have them, however I can live without them. Many thanks for your help.

Hi James, many thanks for your help. I am inclined to get the Nokia 105 4G, however I have a couple of questions.

I wish to keep my present phone number. My current SIM card will not fit the Nokia - how can I transfer current SIM info to new nano SIM?

Does the Nokia come already set up with EE (where I still have credit)?

I don't need a package - can I just have Pay as You Go? Thank you again for any advice you can give.

Hi @Serenissima

If you upgrade through customer services on 150 or in your nearest EE store, they'll be able to make sure you get a new SIM card and will discuss plans with you. 🙂
