Scam call?

Just got called from 0800 058 4657

barely understandable accent, claimed to be EE offering some kind of service upgrade / new phone.
Said I wasn’t interested but guy kept on about it until I just hung up.
my thoughts are it can’t be genuine but thought I should check!

That wasn't a genuine call from EE.

To report it, please text the word call followed by the number that called you to 7726.

Hi just had a call from 01768862319 , it came up as Bakewells on my screen. When answered took ages for them to talk and when did it was a man with Indian accent Nd very noisy background saying he was from ee and I could get 45% off monthly bill. I didn't believe him as if ee call it normally will come up ee. I googled the number and it turns out to be electrical shop in Scotland so I guess there using a spoofing app.

I have had the same call but a different number 01135342478 he asked what I was paying I sad I am not going to tall you you sad you are from ee but you have not given me any proof than he hung up
