Phone contact from ee may be a scam 02080791423

Just received phone call purporting to be from ee , south asian sounding gentleman offering to reduce my mobile bill at the end of the discussion he requested my bank details to supposedly change the direct debit, I refused to give these details.If this was genuine he would already have these details.
