Cold calling from EE to replace old SIM Pack

I received a call today to replace my old sim pack to make my services better, it seemed like an off shore phone call and I declined to have it changed. Can anyone advise if they have had the same. Thanks

We don't call our customers to advise them we need to replace their SIM, you're right in being wary about the call.

You can check if a call is genuine and from us on our How Do We Contact You page.
Or if the call was from our Direct Partners at Phone numbers EE partners will call from.

If you're concerned about unsolicited contact from other companies, you can visit How to avoid and prevent scams including phishing, vishing and smishing for hints on how to block and prevent these.

You can also report the call to be investigated at Report a scam call | Help

You sure it was a SIM Pack that was to be replaced & not the SIM itself. You might get a call to upgrade the SIM to 5G.
