just had someone ring me from EE offering me ome pretty good contract changes for both my mobile and broadband. i was confused as they seem to be sending me links to things and postcode from both EE and Virgin o2.

i kept challenging but they said they worked for EE . they sent mails and text all were from official addresses. the text messages even were tagged on my existing message conversation.

all the information they did thy gave me about my account. they said would be sending a watch - yea again something for nothing shouts scam even though they said good customer although as i am typing this i realize they got some information wrong like ying i had been with EE for 15 years. thy knew my bank account details everything it was strange ; toward end they wanted to change the direct debit but starting going on about the card expiry date at that point i said no wouldn't provide as there is already a direct debit. they also mentioned my bank saying it was part of another bank which was incorrect. they then finally asked for £40 i told them don't have money so they said would ring back . i went through the EE online advise but it tells me to phone but the phone doesn't help and sends you back to the web. support i was tying to make sure EE are not now offering 02 deals? i think as i write this out i see how silly this now seems !!! like scam even though the texts and mails look authentic particularly the text that is on a existing EE text chain. sorry for my ramble thoughts please ?
