I am getting hammered by a Russian bot doing a SMB:BruteForce attack

I am getting hammered by a Russian bot doing a SMB:BruteForce attack.

Norton is blocking the attack every time, but its every 15 seconds or so from the same set of IP addresses. I can mute the warning from Norton but that just hides the problem.

Is there a way to block it higher up the chain?

It is a false positive. Search Google many reports over many years.

Norton is not all that good software in my view, gave up using it years ago.

Anyway you don't have Samba (SMB) on a mobile.
