Scam or not?

I was checking my email and saw a message that looked like it was from EE. It said, "We have received request to transfer your EE mobile number to THREE NETWORK tomorrow.
We'll let you know when it's done. If you didn't request this switch?

Get in touch right away on 08000374096"

Is this a scam or phishing? I certainly made no such request.

Should I be worried? I’m scared that my number has been stolen.

Hi @ddragons99

It looks like that could be a phishing email. We would only send a text message to confirm you're transferring your number to another network, and we'd not mention the name of the network you are leaving to. We don't send a confirmation emails in that way.

You forward any phishing emails referring to EE to our phishing reporting email box, So that we can raise a report and have this investigated.

You can also forward the message to the Government phishing reporting service. The UK's National Cyber Security Team will then analyse it and, if it is identified as suspicious, attempt to take them down permanently.

Please delete the email once you have reported the, and be sure not to click on any links in the email.
