Scam phishing SMS

Just received SMS which appeared to be from EE on this number 07486657018 asking me to update billing details immediately as direct debit had failed. . I know I should have forwarded to 7726, but in panic got rid of the message. Didn’t clickthe link but checked account and bank and all payments have gone through. Reporting for information.

You should be OK. There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link in order to access your a/c.
