Questionable scam email

I’ve had an email from Ee (from no-reply@info.ee.co.uk) which all appears to be legitimate. The email states that my direct debit is no longer active. I’ve logged onto the app and my account details are correct. I haven’t clicked on he link in the email incase it’s a scam. The only other thing that makes me think it could be a scam is that the box of the email doesn’t include my account number and the email it was sent to is my alternative email address.

i can’t find anywhere on the EE app that I can contact anyone.

Never mind which email addy it's from (that's easily faked) but where does it link to? That's the way to spot it.

Don't go there but what was the link?

Thank you. I was able to see the link without following it through and it was definitely a scam. Worryingly it looked very legitimate and only questioned it because it was addressed to my alternate email address.

It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link in order to access your a/c.

Report spam emails to EE by forwarding the email to phishing@EE.co.uk .
