My husband received a text today welcoming him back from abroad. We haven't been abroad.

Where do you live? Perhaps on the coast you picked up a foreign network momentarily.

Hi @LJJ49 As @XRaySpeX mentioned, you may have momentarily picked up another network abroad.

If you do a manual network selection and choose EE, you won't roam onto any international networks, so you shouldn't experience this again in the future.
