Closing an inactive account

I have not been a active customer for a year now (no contracts/products/or outstanding balance) but I still have access to my online account.

I want to delete my account, but I cant find anywhere to do this. (I have a EE Broadband account, if that makes a difference)

I have tried calling and the response I got was useless. All I want is to get rid of my email and password off the system and close an account I have no use for.

Any ideas how?

Just to be sure here, is the email address you use to login for your broadband the same as the one with the old login associated with it, or is this a totally separate one?

Thanks @sb331, all the details of your account should now be handled through the one login, but I can appreciate you'll not want to be seeing dead accounts listed too.

If you contact our mobile care team, they should be able to look into getting these details removed.

Alternatively, if you head to our privacy centre, you can request details on the information we hold on you, and ask for anything you don't want to be deleted too.
