I'm getting an absolute multitude of scam calls all of a sudden on my mobile yesterday and today from mobile numbers with people claiming to be General Medical Council, BMA & Credit Investigation Bureau - all laughably fake , one of the numbers however that is also constantly ringing excessively claims to be EE, number is 0191 429 7590, its rung me 4 times today which is excessive, is this even a genuine EE number? There is no reason for EE to be calling me so its starting to bug me now and I'm wondering whether to block it

Hi @luciah

Welcome to the Community.

I know unwanted calls can become rather frustrating at times. As @XRaySpeX has mentioned, this is an EE Direct Partner that may call with available offers. We also have a help page about How Do We Contact You About Your Account? that you may find handy.

If you want to chat about your marketing preferences and update this, please give our team a call so they can review this for you.

Any other numbers calling claiming to be EE that aren't listed on these pages, we'd not consider genuine and would need to be reported. See how to do that here 👉 Online Security: Avoid and Prevent Scams.

I hope this helps,
Linzi
