I DON'T WANT TO HEARABOUT THISCOMPANY AGAIN. AFTER ONE HOUR OF I TE SE RESEARCH ABOUT HOW TO REMOVE CONTENT LOCK, THEY ASK FOR A CREDIT CARD TO REMOVE CONTENT LOOK!?

FIRST OFF ALL I DIDN'T ASK THEM TO APPLY CONTENT LOOK AND SECOND I DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD AND I HOPE THAT I WILL NEVER NEED ONE IN MY LIFE. AND GUESS WHAT...THEY DON'T ACCEPT DEBIT CARD 🤮

I AM SICK OF YOU, I WILL SWAP TO ANOTHER PROVIDER ASAP.

Posting in all capitals on the internet is widely regarded as shouting and thus rude - please check your caps lock.

Telecoms operators would readily be criticised for allowing under-age users access to age-restricted content - debit cards can be obtained by under-18s whereas credit cards cannot be,

I would be amazed if any operator allowed debit cards for this purpose, and rather suspect Ofcom might take a dim view of it.

Welcome to the community,

No need to write in capitals, that is seen as shouting and rude.

Unfortunately, content lock is always on when you first have an account, whether pay as you go or contract, and that is to protect children and vulnerable people.

If you are on pay as you go, then you do have to have a way of paying, which will be refunded, which, if you are on contract then there is no need for that. You could always go to an EE high street store with photo ID.

Ok. Thank you for your reply. Anyway the procedure it's totally ridiculous
i will never go in a shop with the id to do that. It's totally ridiculous
and uncomfortable.I prefer a provider who is able to do it online. We are
in 2025.

By the off chance of you seeing this.

Perhaps you’re are over 18 but EE don’t know that you’re not giving this to a child or in fact you’ve been given this by an adult you could be an under 18. It’s not ridiculous if your parent as it protects under 18 from certain content.
