Hi @MattW91

Welcome to the community.

I know how frustrating calls like this can be.

They definitely aren't numbers that our teams would use directly, or from one of our Direct Partners.

There is some handy information on how to manage and report scam calls on our How to avoid and prevent scams: phishing, vishing and smishing page.

If the calls do continue and become a nuisance, it is worth speaking to our team again and explain what is happening and they'll look to see if there is an option to do a free of charge number change.

SCAM cold call from EE?

Received a cold call from a gentleman with an accent called Jack from 07971 438205 stating he was from EE Mobile Network and had 50% discount offers for me on mobile devices. It was a bad line with a buzzing sound. I never thought EE would ring me off the cuff like this so I said I not interested. He was very polite and thanked me for my time. I’m always dubious of cold callers.

Hey there @Curly7450 👋

Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

This definitely isn't a number we would call from, so you've definitely made the right call! You can find details of any numbers we do ring from here.

We also have a handy help guide with all the details you need to know about how to spot these kind of calls too.

Since I've changed my number, i've started getting cold calls from people claiming to be from EE. Trying to offer me discounts.

I dont want to have to change my number again as this will incur a charge.

So far i've been called from the following.
0203 878 5228, 0131 392 7956, 0114 4892639

I haven't been with EE long enough to get an upgrade. So clearly a scam.
