I’ve seen the scams interceptors programme and seen this before it’s so easy to get caught out with a bunch of people taking to you guests in the house tv on kids making noises etc and then your sensory overloaded and you find yourself blurting out something. Thanks for your advice.

Just wanted to make you aware a Peter Smith with a gmail address contacted me about my issue I’d posted on this forum and then I received an call from 07441 396375, An Asian male called me by my name knew everything about my problem and asked for the code he sent as I were reading the text I inadvertently blurted out the code as it was almost the same 6 digits ie 111111 and hung up on the phone call immediately afterwards I saw they tried to access my EE account they tried calling with these other numbers as well. 0161 531 1169, 0161 531 0838, & 0161 531 6560 I called EE to let them know. I always thought I’d never get caught as I am always suspicious of any calls but I was in the middle of doing something that’s how they catch you.

It's probably a scam as the call came from a mobile no. & not a landline that EE usually uses.

Report spam calls by filling the form @ https://www.bt.com/exp/help/contact-bt/form/scams

@Profile closed It’s best to remember that customer support or anyone in EE will not contact you via this forum. The only exception to this might be because you’ve received a private message from one of the EE staff on here. See THIS other than these people every other message you receive claiming to EE is more than likely a scam.
