I've had a call from "EE" this morning; 'Marion' told me about a promotion they're running for 40% off my monthly bill, because they've had negative customer feedback about value for money. I asked if I could call them back or if she could contact me later as I was going into a meeting. Kudos to their persistence, as she's called 3 times. I wanted to verify the number before I continued with the call - 020 8638 8914

Hello, I received a phone call from the number 020 4579 4811 offering a better deal on my SIM only phone contract.

I just wanted to confirm this was a legitimate phone number tied to EE or if it was a scam.

Thanks.

Well, it's not EE nor 1 of its Direct partners .So it's probably a scam.
