pressed 1 to talk to an “advisor “ when I asked from what account he said Natwest then Barclays Bank

funny I don’t bank with them ? Just thought I’d share

Genuine banks would never contact you in this manner, and if you have even the slightest bit of doubt in the about a call like this the recommendation is always to hang up and call the number printed on your card.

To get this reported to our security team, can you please send the number to 7726?

@Davefife : As it's coming from a mobile no. it'll be a scam.

Report spam calls by filling the form @ https://www.bt.com/exp/help/contact-bt/form/scams

@Peter_W : I thought 1 of you Community Team said texting 7726 had been replaced by above FOR CALLS.

Thanks for catching that @XRaySpeX, 7726 is still used for forwarding scam texts, but you're absolutely right that you can now report the call directly via the form in the link you've shared above.
