Got a call today from this number ‘02081446856’ claiming to be offering discounts for loyal customers. Sounded fairly legitimate but anyway wanted me to stay on the line to give the a code they had sent to my email. I did question that it didn’t sound legit and then was told to look at the email and I will see that it was from EE which it was. Anyway when I actually read the email it said the passcode was to change my password 🙄 . So I ended the call with the guy giving some bs about why it said that etc.

However these people have my phone number and email and that I’m on EE - should I be worried?
