&lt;P&gt;You've done the right thing being wary of an unexpected call like this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It is not a number that we'd use from our call centres or one of our &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/manage/phone-calls-from-our-partners" target="_blank"&gt;direct partners&lt;/A&gt; who may call on our behalf.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you text CALL followed by the number to 7726 to report it as a spam call?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you had any network trouble at all?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received a call from EE offering to reduce my monthly bills as compensation due to the poor network the last few days. the number that called was 02039292365. they were asking for my personal details&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2035948"&gt;@Nunu12&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Ask yourself how would they know you had poor cellular coverage ? &amp;nbsp; EE don’t track where you are in the UK but you can sign up to receive updates on locations that might be having network coverage issues&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That’s got scam written all over it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Whilst a valid point, there's a pretty safe bet that most users would have some perception of "network problems" and it's a good "in" for a scammer wanting to dupe the unwary.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
