50% promotional deal off contract aka SCAM

Hello everyone guys I’m really a bit confused I’ve been called from a young south Asian woman about ee are doing a promotion at the moment where they have a selected certain people for 50% discount and I told her what’s her name I forgotten what it was and then I said you know you can track this number and actually see if you work for EE or not and said ma’am don’t worry I do work for EE, the email seemed legit but to be honest I can tell it’s a scam and she has been calling me from different numbers which are 020 8129 4573, 020 7959 1119.
please can anyone from EE reassure me if this is a scam or not because I had to block this caller because they was keep on calling my phone and they seemed so persistent about this promotional deal and if anyone has been getting these calls as well.

You're welcome. You can text CALL followed by a space and then the number that has called you, to 7726 (this spells SPAM).
Please use a separate message for each number.

To stop all unsolicited sales or marketing calls, sign up to the Telephone Preference Service by texting TPS followed by your email address to 85095 (free of charge) or calling 0207 291 3320.

I’ve just had them call me, wanted my email address but I told them that if they were from EE then they would have all those details !
