Got a call of this number 01914290925 saying they were EE trying to sell me broadband, they knew what contract I had and sent me a code that came from ee. Is it a scam?

This isn't one of the numbers our partners would call from, so it is certainly worth being cautious. I'd recommend giving our team a call, just to ensure your account is protected.

I received a call from the same number asking for a code sent to my number from EE then I get another text saying "Thank you for passing security to access your account". Really dodgy, been trying to get in touch with EE but it's impossible, the entire phone line is a bot with preset options nothing related to fraud. The phone number isn't listed on EE's partner list or whatever.

I've probably been hacked and defrauded yet its impossible to connect with EE, absolutely ridiculous.

I'm sorry you're having trouble getting in touch with our team, I understand needing to speak to someone as a matter of urgency.

I got this today as well. I got really suspicious when he said that I would have to do a few things in my phone to verify my account. Told him to call back - number now blocked
