Scam text messages?

I did receive the following text message but I only have EE mobile and not any other service. Recently I also receive messages from ‘BT’ and ‘EE’ saying something like “thank you for passing the security check.

are these all part of a scam?

@Glorious I think you’ll find someone gave EE the wrong number as what’s in the message seems legit from EE. If you are concerned about this you’ll be best of calling customer services about it.

I don't see anything in that text message that a scammer would have to gain from.

You'd normally be looking for a "click here to update your details" or somesuch - this comes across as a "for courtesy" message, and therefore seems entirely legitimate to me, save for potentially a wrong number in error.

I agree this last message seems legit and there is nothing wrong but maybe it was just a coincidence that in the last couple of days I got two text messages “thank you for passing the security check…” which definitely looked fishy!
