I don't see anything in that text message that a scammer would have to gain from.

You'd normally be looking for a "click here to update your details" or somesuch - this comes across as a "for courtesy" message, and therefore seems entirely legitimate to me, save for potentially a wrong number in error.

I did receive the following text message but I only have EE mobile and not any other service. Recently I also receive messages from ‘BT’ and ‘EE’ saying something like “thank you for passing the security check.

are these all part of a scam?

Hello EE here, We hope you are enjoying your new package. We are thrilled to inform you that your minimum speed guarantee has not changed at all. So, your internet speed remains just as reliable as before. If you ever want to check your speed or learn more about it visit this page ee.co.uk/help/broadband/fix-problem/what-affects-your-home-broadband-speed-and-wifi Thanks for choosing EE

I agree this last message seems legit and there is nothing wrong but maybe it was just a coincidence that in the last couple of days I got two text messages “thank you for passing the security check…” which definitely looked fishy!
