iPhone Duo preorder expected date query

Hi All,

I pre ordered my iPhone Duo at around 2.30pm on Friday, and have seen other people who have also pre ordered it from EE have an expected delivery date on their tracking page, however i have not been given one yet.

Is this something i should be concerned about?

and does anyone here have any ideas if i am likely to receive the phone on launch day?

The phone was sold out by 2pm on EE apparently so definitely not. I ordered mine at 13:20 and got it for launch date even rang at 18:00 to confirm and then got a text the next day saying there was an issue with the order and to contact EE they confirmed funds were pending but as they didn’t clear my order was cancelled no attempt to clear funds again so I’m not stuck with funds pending out of my bank account and had to re order a day later so I’m probably not getting the phone untill Feb- March now

did you buy the phone on contract with them? and when you go to track the order is there any expected date of delivery? i know a few others who did and their orders have a date but mine just says date not found

Mine says same thing at this point it’s just waiting game unfortunately. My best bet would be to just wait and keep checking more on lunch day I think they don’t know who got one and it will be like Russian roulette

I upgrade my plan around 3.30 pm on Friday and if I try to track the order I’m exactly like you but on Friday I get a text message from Ee

Your order for iPhone Duo ESIM 256GB Star White will be delivered on Launch date which is 23rd of this month.

you didn’t get any text message with a date?

No i didn’t receive any texts from EE it could be because this is an additional line and i am porting my number from 3. but i will have to give ee a ring to make sure the order has gone through properly.

I opted for the 512, and the advisor said there are many more in stock for launch date this was at 14:30 after I signed the documents

I ordered mine at 13:08 to be told at least 28 days. Not good enough I’m afraid

i also went for 512gb, i did call up today and was told by the guide that i should be all good for launch day but if for any reason there was a delay i’d be contacted.

appreciate all the engagement on the post very useful info from all!

I ordered mine by 1.03pm, paid an early upgrade fee (which has cleared on my bank account) and signed all the agreements - says date not found on dispatch and estimated delivery.

Hoping its just early days!

Nobody has an expected delivery date. It won't show a date till Thursday at earliest.

I got the same. My order page shows absolutely NOTHING though. But I did order the Star White 512GB + Case and screen protector bundle. EE took £14.99 for the case and credited it to my account. My order was completed at 13:06 on 16 October.

I have no indication of any delivery dates or estimations, absolutely nothing. Just air lol.

looks like it’s the same for everyone, i think you’ll definitely get it on launch day, as it’s 512 and you did yours very early. so enjoy!

Mine (512 Night Sky) went through around 14:30 and the advisor said not many 512's have been sold so you should be good for sure. Got to remember its a £2k phone so most people will technically go for the base model
