Order delayed

Hi, I ordered a PS5 Slim Disc Edition on 20th October, and the delivery status initially showed dispatch within 2–3 days. Yesterday, this changed to dispatch in 1 day, so I was expecting it to be dispatched today. However, when I checked this morning, the status had changed to “Order delayed” and now says I’ll receive an email once it has been dispatched.

Could someone from EE please clarify what has caused the delay and when I can realistically expect my order to be dispatched? It’s frustrating to see the estimated dispatch date getting closer, only for the status to change without any explanation. Any update would be appreciated.

It was just a PS5 with GTA6 loose for delivery when available

If this was the bundle which you purchased, it shows it is currently on pre-order and will released November 19th.

Yes, for the game that is fine but not the console. The shipping time for
the console was initially 2-3 days.
So now I’m asking how long has this been delayed for?

I can't see as to why your order is delayed for the PS5, the device is showing in stock. @Selwyn97.

I've just got off the phone with your customer service team, and they've told me there is currently no stock available and they have no idea when it will be back in stock, as they're still waiting for a delivery from Sony.

Could you please clarify where you're seeing stock available and which PS5 model you're referring to? This is the PS5 Slim Disc Edition I ordered on 20 October, and it's now showing as out of stock on your website.

I'm confused as to why my order is delayed if stock was supposedly available when I placed the order.

Same issue here. Console stated as in stock on the EE store, dispatched within 3 days, once exceeded it changed to 'delayed', now nothing and no updates for EE.

Might just cancel the order, see how long they take to refund what I paid upfront, then buy one from Currys.

Disappointing service.

I ordered on the 19th, I obviously would not have done so if it was showing as out of stock with no indication as to when it would be back in stock.
mine is for Xmas so I don't mind waiting but I'd like some assurance that it will be with me before then.

Same problem. Even went into a EE store and they had consoles to sell in store but would not be able to give me one of them. Ordered it 2 weeks ago, there was no sign stating that it was out of stock and I need it for a birthday this week. How is this going to be resolved?

I ordered this bundle on 19th October. It was showing as in stock. It was then showing as dispatched in 3 days, then 1 day and now it seems to be delayed with absolutely no means to check when restock is due? Can any more insight be given as to when stock is due? It's an extremely disappointing situation to be in.
