Order number not found

I've placed an order to upgrade my phone to the iphone 18 pro max. I have now been given 2 order numbers in 2 different formats. One starting with ORD and other not, which none of them work so I cannot track anything. How would I track a new order?

Apparently it's waiting on dispatch but I have to contact you to find out, no updates on email, text or by using one of the order numbers I've been given. Not good is it?

Only a crap answer on chat that I cannot track any part of my order until it's been dispatched. I find this ridiculous that we're given an order number, there is a link on the EE site to track an order but the order numbers won't work until it's been sent out. Apparently I will get a text update once it's been passed for dispatch. Any other company that give you an order number allows you to track progress. However EE don't seem to grasp the idea that even though it's not moved on we would still like to physically see the progress.

I've gone for the same, they say it's first come first served which is obvious but tracking is essential
