topic Order cancelled in Orders

Hi everyone,

I received this message from EE:

“Hi from EE. We’ve had to cancel your order XKO303036844 because there was a problem with your card details. Please check with your card provider, then go to ee.co.uk to place a new order.”

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m trying to understand whether this type of cancellation is usually just a card/billing-address verification issue, or whether it can also mean that the credit or fraud checks weren’t passed.

My billing address with my bank was different when I originally placed the order, but I’ve since updated it with my bank.

If anyone has had the same EE message and knows what happened with their order afterwards, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!
